Our History
What began as a small group of passionate theatre lovers has grown into one of Staten Island's most vibrant cultural organizations. Over the years, Spotlight Theatre has produced dozens of productions ranging from beloved classics to contemporary works, all while nurturing the next generation of performers through our education programs.
Our home at The Staten Island Playhouse provides an intimate, 73-seat venue where audiences experience the magic of live theatre up close. Every production is a labor of love, brought to life by our talented community of actors, directors, designers, and volunteers.
